Cuba is one of the safest countries in Latin America. WeWorld-GVC has been present in Cuba since 1993. We World GVC ongoing and presentation projects are mainly aimed at:
-Rights: inclusion of people with disabilities at work, improving services to the elderly,

-Support for the processes of decentralization and self-management of town halls and provinces with a view to local development,

-Culture and Development: support for cultural interventions to enhance material and intangible heritage and spread respect for the environment,

-Protecting vulnerable groups.

Our work in Cuba in recent years has focused on:

-Rights of vulnerable people, such as the elderly **and disabled people, with initiatives that promote inclusion, in close coordination with the Cuban institutions.

-Food Safety: this is a priority line of our NGO on which we have gained considerable experience, particularly in the production of grain seeds (corn, beans, sorghum, sunflower etc.). We consider this line of work in Cuba to be fundamental in support of the country's efforts to reduce the heavy dependence on imports.

-Gender equality is present in all proposed initiatives, as one of the objectives of our work.
