Plan International UK is a global children’s charity. We strive to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we're tackling the root causes of gender inequality and child poverty, and we are now active in more than 70 countries worldwide.

You will need a solid background of designing and implementing humanitarian and/or DRR-Resilience projects and of securing and overseeing projects from major humanitarian institutional donors (such as DFID, DEC, Start Network, UN). You will also have proven experience of working in consortium to raise and manage major donor grants and the proven ability to develop and oversee grant funded programmes across all phases of the programme cycle. Knowledge on education in emergencies projects as well as being able to speak French and/or Spanish would be advantageous.

As a Programme Specialist with a varied and wide workload, you will have demonstrable ability to prioritise work and use your time effectively while paying close attention to details to produce high quality work.
