Consultant on CMFA Self-Assessment Tool

Baan Dek are developing tools for construction companies to implement the Chiang Mai Framework for Action (CMFA). These tools include the Camp Assessment Tool (aka. The Self-Assessment Tool for companies).

The objective for the Self-Assessment Tool is for companies to be able to track and assess their camp in terms of wellbeing of community members, over time, so that they can make relevant improvements, and gradually improve all camps.
This tool will be developed in the below major phases:

2019: BDF develop and pilot prototype for proof of concept to present to companies in a workshop
Q1 – Q2 2020: develop with regular company input and piloting
Q3 2020: develop from input and gather feedback from wider stakeholders (eg. TCA committee and other companies)
Q4 2020: launch version 1.0 for the construction sector to use
2021: collect feedback on version 1.0 in order to develop version 2.0 by the end of the year for even wider use
We are now in the Q3 2020 phase, and for this phase we aim to develop a working google sheet that Camp Managers can use easily to keep track of camp progress in the company – to use to manage improvements with Camp Bosses, or to present to Senior Management for recommended business process changes, or for investor relations (these objectives still need to be refined within Q3 2020 with company feedback).
