About the Post

The Programme Policy Officer (CBT - Digital Assistance Solutions) will oversee the implementation of cash and voucher-based programs, ensuring compliance with WFP policies and procedures. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to research, design, and refine program strategies, while supervising day-to-day operations and providing support to WFP staff. Additionally, they will be responsible for monitoring program outcomes, contributing to reporting obligations, and identifying lessons learned for future interventions.

What Will You Do? (not all-inclusive)

• In collaboration with the Programme Policy Officer Digital Assistance Services, Area Office Programme team and internal teams, liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders, cooperating partners, to research, design, and implement cash and voucher-based programs, including operational arrangements.
• Supervise day-to-day management and implementation of the programme including operational issues, awareness raising on program objectives and assistance transfers procedures, interaction with programme stakeholders (such as WFP partners, Government departments and internally) and coordination with on-going programmes, including training and support to WFP staff in good practice guidelines.
• Ensure the programme remains compliant with all WFP policies and procedures,
• In cooperation with stakeholders, recommend ways to refine the programme and thereby improve the service offered to beneficiaries and facilitate implementation by WFP,
• Ensure coordination of field level monitoring of implementation including outputs and outcomes.
• Complete all internal reporting and contribute to external reporting obligations (including daily reports, updates, sit-reps, monthly reviews, donor reports etc)
• Identify lessons learnt and best practices established for use in further WFP cash & food programme interventions.
• Any additional activity that might be necessary and requested by your supervisor and/or the Area Office management
