Specific responsibilities
- Information Management Systems and Storage
- Support, and ensure data quality control on the NRC Global Outcome and Output Reporting System ( GORS)
- Create regular dashboards on project progress and achievements using Power BI
- Support the process of developing internal databases for managing project and beneficiary data and handling database-specific tasks such as creating queries, procedures, and functions to support application development.
- Support mobile data collection designs, and utilization and minimize data collection, data entry, and reporting efforts through introducing digital processes/automatisation.
- Create geographical maps to analyse and visualize project implementation across areas and sites.
- Reporting and data collection
- Compile and consolidate all sector projects and indicators into our Global Output and Outcome Reporting System (GORS) and conduct regular data quality checks and ensure the reliability and cleanliness of the data.
- Contribute to internal learning to help improve NRC processes and project delivery through provision of specific technical analysis, lessons learned, and reports.
- Capacity building and programme support
- Assist the project and field M&E staff with tools loaded onto IT platforms and support their use and Supervise and train teams in relation to IM systems implementation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports with the extraction of data from IM platforms and lessons learned.
- Support the development of troubleshooting guides and guidelines for NRC Iraq staff for common IM-related issues/complaints.

These are skills, knowledge and experience that are important for effective performance.
- Familiarity with Iraqi context
- Good experience with data interpretation
- Full proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic is essential, Kurdish is an asset.
- Analytic and computer skills, including advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access), Power BI are required.
- Experience with SQL and coding would be an advantage.
- At least two years of relevant experience working in designing information management systems or database management.
- Demonstrated experience in staff capacity building on IMusage.
- Mapping experience is required (GIS).

Contract Duration: until 31 December, 2023
Duty Station: Erbil- Iraq with 30% (to different field locations in Iraq)

Salary: G5/S1, According to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
