Context

Mali is facing a complex humanitarian crisis since 2012 as the multiplicity of non-state armed groups (NSAGs) continue to conduct incursions across different regions of the country. A new field office will be operational effective January 2023 in Segou region.

To meet the needs of populations affected by conflict, displacement and climatic hazards, NRC implements programs in Education, Shelter/WASH, Rapid Response Mechanisms (RRM), Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA), Livelihoods and Food Security, Humanitarian Mediation and Protection from violence.
