Responsibilities:

Generic responsibilities:

Adhere to NRC policies, Code of Conduct & guidelines Promote and share ideas for improvement  Perform according to the work and development plan Manage and implement given instructions into his/her daily work Ensure that daily activities of kitchen are maintained properly Provide regular report to line manager.

Specific responsibilities:

Responsible to prepare lunch for staff and visitors according to the schedule. To maintain the kitchen properly To have a proper record of the kitchen supplies To maintain a lunch menu for staff To Procure food items from market Distribution of office supplies among different departments in the office Responsible for distribution of tea to staff rooms in the morning Responsible to arrange the meeting room for official meetings Responsible to check for the office supplies tea, Sugar etc.) and report to HR and Admin Dept. Checking whether all the kitchen equipment is regularly & nicely washed and cleaned  To have good relation and cooperation with the other colleagues Must obey and work according to the time and schedule given by his supervisor. To conduct any other task assigned by the supervisor

Generic professional competencies:

3 years’ experience working as service support staff (Cook) in a humanitarian/recovery context Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities Some knowledge of English Language

Context/ Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

High School graduate Experience working as Cook in a humanitarian context Good command over local languages/English is a plus Knowledge of NGO working environment Knowledge about support section.
