NRC is looking for a Consortium Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will support project management, strengthen synergies, and enhance collaboration and engagement between NRC and the other Consortium partners. He/she will strengthen relationships and coordination between the Consortium and external partners, clusters, working groups and other relevant stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Consortium strategy development and implementation.  Compliance with donor’s strategy, guidelines, rules, requirements, expectations, and contractual obligations. Programme proposals and reports development. Quality control and monitoring and evaluation standards. Consortium representation. 

What You Will Bring

Programmatic implementation experience, in a humanitarian/recovery context in Myanmar, and experience working with refugees, internally displaced persons, and/or returnees. Humanitarian coordination and representation experience. Complex, and volatile context exposure. Myanmar context exposure and knowledge. English fluency, both written and verbal.

Specific responsibilities 

Support the development and implementation of Consortium Strategy in line with evolving needs, operational context and technical practicesEnsure compliance with donor guidelines/rules/regulations and contractual obligations Contribute to the development of new programme proposals and drafting of reportsIn close collaboration with the M&E colleagues, ensure the development of quality control and monitoring/evaluation standardsPromote and ensure overview of the adherence to the common rationale and harmonized tools and guidelinesProvide support with countrywide emergency preparedness and prepositioningSupport in coordination and issues amongst partners, as well as with external stakeholders, including UN Agencies, coordination mechanisms, etc. Represent the Consortium in coordination forums; and attend internal and external meetings, when requested by the line managerDeputise for the Head of Consortium in his/her absence
