NRC is looking for an Area Support Manager to join the Afghanistan mission. The role holder will be responsible for provision of support to the Finance, Human Resources & Administration, Logistics, and Information & Communications Technology functions, and will provide high-quality and efficient support for programme implementation.

What You Will Do

Support function’s strategic input facilitation into the Country strategy. Project / programme implementation quality support. Structures, systems, human resources, procedures, regulations, guidelines, and tools development. Budget and business process outsourcing facilitation. Proposal development operational input. Line management and capacity building of support staff. Technical support.

What You Will Bring

Senior-management experience position in a humanitarian/recovery context. Humanitarian project and programme implementation experience. Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics advanced knowledge in a humanitarian context. Resource allocation and cost management expertise. Data analysis proficiency. Afghanistan context and the Afghan humanitarian community response experience and knowledge. Complex and volatile context exposure. English fluency, both written and verbal.
