Perform deep analysis of issues reported by end users and elaborate optimal solutions while leveraging customer satisfaction and performance of the platform. Develop and implement standards of excellence in all aspects of SASS-C software technical support, analysing requests and incidents, developing User Guides and training materials. Design, develop and deliver SASS-C training content worldwide on stakeholders’ premises and ensure consistency across all SASS-C training activities. Follow latest innovation in technology and trends in order to build the consolidated trend watch and share best practices with internal community. Carry out any other tasks in line with the main purpose of the job.

Required qualifications, experience & competencies

Completed university studies of 4 years in a relevant field (Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics) followed by minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in using or testing of SASS-C tools. Specialisation in ATM or CNS would be an asset. Surveillance Engineering Training with Manufacturer or ANSP training center will be considered as asset. Experience in Surveillance systems and technologies. Experience in providing Surveillance and/or SASS-C trainings ideally at internationally level. Experience in analysing the surveillance and/or SASS-C issues. (i.e. special phenomenon or performance anomalies). Technical drafting skills in English. Experience in validation/acceptance testing specialised software/system. Experience in the domain of Linux OS installation, MariaDB/MySQL (database principles, modelling, querying, creating views/tables) use and administration. The selected candidate will be required to become basic users of French at level A1/A2 before the end of the probation period.

The selected candidate will be offered a contract of 5 Year(s) and it may be renewed up to a maximum of 9 years or converted into an undetermined contract pursuant to the provisions of the Conditions of Employment of Contract Staff at EUROCONTROL. Before being established in the post, he/she will be requested to provide certified copies of his/her degrees and successfully serve a probationary period of 9 months. The successful candidate shall be engaged in principle at the basic grade of the advertised grades.
