Amnesty International seeks a Researcher in our Southern Africa Regional Office.

ABOUT YOU

• In this role you will be flexible, help develop partnerships with grassroots movements.
• You will also monitor trends within the region that have an impact on the enjoyment of human rights
• Are you passionate about changing the world for the better?
• Have you worked on human rights in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Malawi?
• Have you worked on on research strategies to deliver impact?
• Are you able to communicate complex topics in an easy and accessible way?
• Are you someone who has research on various themes include but not limited to criminal justice system, policing, inequality, people at risk freedom of expression, assembly and association, socio-economic rights?
• Have you in your work struck collaborative and strategic partnerships?
• Are you able to carry out field research in demanding environments?
• Are you able to write concise briefings?
