The Position:
Under the direct supervision of the head of the Regional Humanitarian Hub for Syria and the Arab states, and with a dotted line to the Arab states Humanitarian Advisor, and close collaboration with the Gender Advisor and the Regional Emergency GBV Advisor (REGA) .

Job Purpose:
Provide tailored operational and coordination support to the UNFPA regional Syria crisis response, including the Whole of Syria, in the areas of GBViE coordination; and contribute to) technical support on GBViE programme implementation within the region and . knowledge and evidence base on GBV in humanitarian settings for the Arab states region Duties and Responsibilities:
You would be responsible for:
Coordination
Tailored operational support on GBViE
Knowledge Management
Resource Mobilization
Support hub resource mobilization efforts including proposal development and reporting for WoS and 3RP as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
Advanced university degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Law, or Programme/Project management, Monitoring and Evaluation.
Knowledge and Experience:
Languages:
Fluency in English is required; Working knowledge of another official UN language predominantly spoken in the region ( Arabic) would be considered an asset.
