On 12th September 2018, the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) was signed. This marked the end of the conflict that had plagued South Sudan since December 2013. The agreement allows for a Pre-Transitional Period during which key tasks are expected to be undertaken.
