UNICEF is entirely funded by voluntary financial contributions. In Indonesia, we aim to raise a significant part of these from individual donors, businesses, and foundations.

The number of active individual monthly donors (Pendekar Anak”) is growing and these donors contribute significantly to overall annual individual donors’ revenue which mainly benefit children in Indonesia through UNICEF programmes. Hence in addition to recruit new individual monthly donors, the individual fundraising team continues working to optimize its monthly donors’ retention and value maximization.

The PSFR Assistant – Marketing Service role will help the individual fundraising team mainly to support the implementation of its marketing communication plan with the preparation of researches, surveys, fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, fundraising reports, training materials – an assistant role across the whole spectrum of fundraising activities, with a focus on individual fundraising especially existing donors.

Work Assignments:

Research and survey support: Desk research, market research, benchmarking, donors survey, mapping, briefing notes, etc. Fundraising campaigns / events / trainings materials and reports support: Preparation of donors’ material, data, scoring CS and TM recordings using prepared template, drafting FAQ, donor’s community, etc. Accounting and procurement support: Preparation of budget, reporting, payment, contract, etc. Meeting support: Draft agendas, minutes, attendance/participant, etc. Logistic and administrative support: Office and other relevant software platforms, correspondence, government regulations, documents/filling/archiving, internal communication, etc

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Bachelor’s Degree*) in marketing, fundraising, communication, business or other related area. Minimum 3 years of relevant professional work experience in fundraising / marketing / communication. Good communication skills Financial literate Attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word, etc) and other experience in other software platform is an advantage Background experience and familiarity with fundraising are an advantage Familiarity with government administrative and regulations on fundraising is an asset Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal is required
