UNEP’s Economy Division supports partners across governments, private sector and civil society to develop and implement policies, strategies and practices for sustainable development. Located within the Economy Division, the Resources and Markets Branch enhances the capacity of partners to integrate environmental considerations into economic policies and practices. A particular focus of the Resources and Markets Branch is UNEP’s work related to Green Economy. The Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) brings together the specialized expertise of five UN agencies – United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The Partnership aims to accelerate a sustainability revolution and economic transformation, including through green recovery efforts. The Partnership offers a comprehensive, coordinated and cost-effective package of 1) economic and scientific analytical tools; 2) technical assistance for policy development, and 3) capacity-building services for policy implementation. PAGE is developing an integrated publication of the Third Edition of the Green Economy Progress Measurement Framework (GEPMF) Application and green macroeconomic modelling. The Framework was first developed in 2017 and updated in 2021 to help policymakers evaluate their overall progress towards Inclusive Green Economy. There are two components to the Framework: the GEP Index (GEPI) and the Dashboard of Sustainability. The green macroeconomic modelling results are produced using selected results from the GEPI. Combined, the Third Edition will feature the state of the inclusive green economy transition, followed by an assessment of the impacts of achieving carbon neutrality and addressing the multiple crises the world currently faces. As part of the marketing campaign, PAGE seeks to hire a consultant to develop promotional materials for the report, including graphic design support for the branding and layout of PAGE publication provided, the infographics. Specific tasks and responsibilities The consultant - develops the layout of PAGE publication and infographics, presenting the GEPMF third Edition in an attractive and easily accessible manner; - ensures that the GEPMF third edition is professionally designed and effectively branded to maximize visibility in stakeholder engagement activities; and - Addresses comments and suggestions provided by PAGE Secretariat to produce a final version. Qualifications/special skillsUniversity Degree in the field of graphic design or similar is required (Master or Bachelor combined with relevant work experience). A consultant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in graphic design is required. Experience in working with international organizations is desirable.
