GIZ International Services is looking for a Team Leader for the EU funded project “Technical Assistance for Product Safety in E-Commerce” in Ankara, Türkiye. The overall objective is to improve health and safety of consumers in line with the EU product safety rules and to improve Türkiye's accession progress in the area of product safety.
Assuring the quality of the outputs, as for example:
- Developing a strategy and action plan for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of market surveillance of e-commerce products in Türkiye
- Strengthening Institutional capacities of Turkish MSAs responsible for carrying out market surveillance activities for products sold online
- Designing a system for effective information exchange on practices, surveillance methods and legal infrastructure at national and international levels”
- Supporting the TL in all her/his responsibilities
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor degree in computer sciences, software programming, software engineering, or other relevant fields. In the absence of the required degree, equivalent professional experience of minimum of 9 years' professional experience in information technologies. At least B2 level of English as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Master degree or/and PhD in computer sciences, software programming, software engineering, IT systems will be an asset.
General professional experience
At least 5 years of professional experience in information technologies.
Specific professional experience
At least 3 years of experience in information systems/analysis and programming or content management systems/systems administration or software development. Experience in design and delivery of training programmes related to IT will be an asset.Ankara, Turkey
