EED is looking for a IT Project Manager to support the organisation in implementing a CRM solution and other new IT solutions within the organisation to optimise its operations as well as to assist its IT support function.
1. Main functions:
· An experienced IT Project Manager who can take the lead on the planning and implementation of a multi-phased CRM project and other IT tools within EED.
· Provide general IT support to EED operations, with specific focus on IT security.
2. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of a multi-phased CRM project within the organisation in conjunction with the chosen Implementation Partner/Consultant.
- Help define project tasks for various phases of the project in conjunction with Implementation Partner Consultant. Ensure tasks are achieved on time and that overall project is implemented as per the agreed plan. Provide ongoing updates to management on project progress
- Cooperate with all other EED staff for the implementation of the project, ensuring good information flows at all times, collaboration and input from relevant staff members to ensure staff-buy-in to project
- Manage project resource allocation
- Track project deliverables and issues using appropriate tools
Provide support to IT Officer for ongoing IT resourcing issues within EED, including:
Assistance on managing the current Grant Management System
Managing the functionality and efficiency of systems
Implementing security measures
Providing technical support to staff and troubleshooting IT issues
Installing and updating software and hardware as needed.
Essential Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on IT project implementation experience.
- Proven experience within an IT support role.
- A deep understanding of CRM software implementation project life cycles and methodologies
- Extensive track record of delivering complex, large scale projects, to time and budget
- Previous experience leading CRM projects in coordination with an Implementation Partner/Consultancy
3. Key eligibility and selection criteria
Conditions for eligibility:
- preferably be a national or having permanent residence permit of one of the EU/EEA countries or Switzerland;
- be entitled to his/her full rights as a citizen;
- have completed any obligations imposed on him/her by the laws concerning military service;
- be physically fit to perform his/her duties.
Essential selection criteria
Level and type of formal education:
- Degree in IT, Engineering, Business or equivalent.
Essential Professional experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on software implementation experience with CRM Solutions
- Proven experience within an IT support role.
- A deep understanding of CRM software implementation project life cycles and methodologies
- Extensive track record of delivering complex, large scale projects, to time and budget
- Previous experience leading CRM projects in coordination with an Implementation Partner/Consultancy
- Experience in working with democracy-support donors in government and/or international organisations and/or from civil society.
Desirable Skills:
Functional Competencies:
- Professional working knowledge of English;
- Formal Project Management training (such as PMP, Prince2)
- Educated to degree level, preferably in an IT related field and/or business
- Management of at least one full lifecycle CRM implementation projects within Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system.
- 2+ years of hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system.
- Ability to keep full confidentiality about all assigned tasks and related documentation as well as capacity to exercise confidentiality, discretion and tact when dealing with diverse groups of people;
- Ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally at all levels;
- High personal and professional culture;
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
