• To ensure a functioning data management system (DMS) and capacity building of relevant staff to manage identification, response and monitoring data generated by the LPC project and MEAL teams
  • To support the LPC Consortium Manager with required analysis of LPC activities
  • To support the external communication strategy and specific context and activity briefs for the LPC consortium, such as SitReps and Inter-Sectorial profiles.
  • To inform advocacy and programmes through capitalization, the gathering and analysis of data.

Objective 1: To ensure a functioning data management system (DMS) to manage identification, response and monitoring data generated by the LPC project and MEAL teams

  • Develop and manage of a Common Operational Dataset (COD) between Consortium partners
  • Develop and finalize IM tools and templates, under the supervision of the Consortium Manager
  • Capacity building of staff on Data Management System
  • Configure DMS to reflect shifting programmatic needs
  • Work with Program Teams to customise DMS for programmatic needs

Objective 2: To support the LPC Consortium Manager with required analysis of LPC activities

  • Consolidate identification and response data for LPC output reporting
  • Facilitate the access to key information on Lebanon to LPC Consortium Manager/SMT/HQ/ECHO
  • Provide donor with updates to relevant maps and dashboards
  • Support in analysis of LPC monitoring information collected through PIM
  • Maintain and update the PowerBI data visualisation

Objective 3: To contribute to trends analysis and capitalization, in support to Advocacy and Operations Departments

  • Participate in programmes analysis (including LPC)
  • Engage in the analysis of the humanitarian needs and evolution of the context in the areas of intervention
  • Contribute to lessons learnt on Action against Hunger operations, as required
  • Draft briefing notes and context updates, as required
  • ACF employees will show commitment to human rights principles, gender equality and non-discrimination approach in all their work
  • Support MEAL Coordinator in producing project capitalization products

Objective 4: Follow security rules

  • Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols
  • Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan

Objective 5: Support humanitarian activities at Action against Hunger

  • Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities
  • Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities
  • Contribute to the implementation of the gender and protection action plan

Training:

BA or Master’s degree in computer science or Information Management and Systems

Technical specific knowledge:

  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Proven skills to analyse statistical information
  • Experienced in working collaboratively to produce donor reports, advocacy briefs, output monitoring
  • Well-versed in developing and managing the implementation of information dissemination strategies;

Previous experience:

At least 2 years of professional experience

Humanitarian sector knowledge:

Relevant

Action Against the Hunger knowledge:

A plus

Languages:

Arabic and English fluency compulsory

IT and specific systems:

  • Advanced Excel Skills – ability to use PowerQuery and PowerM language,
  • Experience using PowerBI program, GIS
  • ODK software management required
  • Familiarity with MySQL
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform

Mobility (national/ international)

Based in Beirut with frequent travel to the bases
