  1. Role and responsibilities

Specific responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. 

IT Management and security

Computer- and printer hardware and software planning, maintenance, and support.Adequate and systematic backup routines.Coordination with CO office ICT staff to get update technical support or new changes of NRC globalize standard guidelines / instruction.Maintain proper asset / inventory register and updated in monthly asset report Collect, compile, and summit monthly asset and inventory reports. Asset focal person of Rakhine Area Office.Conduct physical asset check across all offices in Rakhine area Office of operations and ensure that asset list is up to date. Provision of office 365 training as requireFollow up on regular maintenance of NRC ICT equipment and network in Rakhine Area Office of operations, proper monitoring, and maintenance procedures, including maintenance agreements for ISP service provider.Ensure that communication equipment functions in accordance with Security Guidelines.Ensure maintenance and repair of technical equipment including scanner, photocopier, etc. Identify and advice on IT and equipment needs, including obtaining quotations and recommendation for procurement and participate in the procurement processes of ICT equipment if necessaryRecord and maintain electronic devices and IT equipment, including regular service, and problem shootingAssisting in any other operational need that might be requested by line Supervisor(s).Coordinate with supervisor for ICT budget planning as requireProvide ICT support and trainings to staff of Rakhine Area OfficeEnsure that all newly purchased ICT items are registered in NRC asset inventory list. Coordinate for creation of new e-mail address in coordination with HR department. Provide technical support as per request from Field offices. Carry out any other tasks as shall be assigned by the supervisor
