The purpose of the ICLA Technical Assistant position is to provide technical and administrative support in the daily implementation of ICLA projects within NRC Area East of operation.

Clerical support and redirection of the request for assistance:
Drafting letters to state authorities and other stakeholders considering local requirements to business letters; Provide secretarial support such as data entry of intake forms, taking minutes, drafting letters and memoranda of understanding, recording of the incoming e-/mails and other relevant actions; Attend meetings, keep records thereof and report on the discussions and processes (if relevant);Provide support with the preparation of meeting minutes, reports, background materials and other relevant documents, Power Point presentations, etc;Assist with receiving incoming calls from beneficiaries/hotline and make outgoing calls to the latter according to needs and perform other duties in the Legal Aid Center (if applicable and when necessary).Translation of documents and Interpretation:
Support with translation of correspondence, documents (letters, Memoranda of Understanding, Agreements and analytical notes) prepared by other ICLA team members from English to Ukrainian/Russian and vice versa;Information sharing and provision of the simple counselling services:
Assistance to the beneficiaries in filling standard forms such as applications for death registration or submitting applications to the DIA app or other digital platforms;Provision of the referral services and counselling to typical requests for assistance that does not require advanced legal expertise (if applicable and when necessary).Record keeping and management of the IEC materials storage:
Manage dissemination of information, communication and education materials in the targeted area by keeping records of brochures distributed and reporting on the progress of the dissemination campaign; Support with KoBo data transferring when requested;Ensure proper filing and storage of documents in accordance with internal standards and requirements for case management and record keeping.Professional competencies

Experience from working as an Assistant in a humanitarian/recovery context or legal firms;Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts; Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities;Proven competence in business writing, research and analytical writing.Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
Record Management, Project Management, Economics, Philology, Social Work or other relevant fields; Experience from working in the field with the displaced populations or law firms;Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages, including advanced English writing skills;Ability to write clearly and concisely;Proven ability to analyse the legal, political and socio-economic context in Ukraine and collect, process and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform contest analysis and legal research;Advanced user of the office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hardware; Experience in using PowerBI, Kobo, MS Access, DIIA software programs and apps would be considered as advantage.What We Offer
