The purpose of the position is to support the implementation of all NRC Programs in the North-West. The Finance Officer will work closely with all the finance team members, to ensure that financial procedures and processes are respected, while providing the necessary support needed by the program and support teams in the execution of the ongoing projects. He/she will work under the supervision of the Field Office Coordinator, who will provide him/her full support in the implementation of all relevant activities.

Responsible for keeping up to date list of NRC Bank account signatories in the field office.Responsible for introducing or removing NRC bank Account signatory.Be responsible for bank transactions in line with NRC policies and procedures.Posting of deposits and costs into bank cash boxes.Ensures timely obtaining monthly bank statements and reconciles bank accounts within the stipulated period.Responsible for the release of payment to contractors & other payments as stipulated in theC - Generic professional competencies:
Experience from working as a Finance Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context.Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts.Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.Mastery of English with basic knowledge of the other official languageIntermediate level Excel knowledge, together with Microsoft Office suiteKnowledge of donor rules like ECHO, GIFFO, UNICEF, SIDA, USG grants, and NMFAKnowledge of Pidgin is a plus.D - Context/ Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:
