Job Summary:

Finance Assistance will mainly be working with Turkey Senior Finance Officer, and will be responsible of following up Cash flow, transfer, procedures, and reports.

Job Title: Finance Assistant

Line Manager: Senior Finance Officer

Contract: 6 Months Subject to extension

Location: Gaziantep - Turkey.

Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks:

· Manage Cash flow transactions on a daily basis.

· Report to Turkey Senior Finance Officer with financial statement and transactions on a daily basis.

· Validate financial documents (Price Offer, Invoice, Payment Receipt…).

· Track daily expenses (Transportation, Bills, incentives…).

· Organize and archive all documents and receipts from different projects and donors.

· Prepare monthly financial report.

· Update accounting system files with data on a daily basis.

Education:

University degree in Economics or related field, accounting department is preferable.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum two /2/ years of experience in accounting, minimum one /1/ year in NGOs

· Good knowledge of financial system procedures in Humanitarian Organizations.

· Good knowledge of QuickBooks.

· Good level of oral and written English Language, Turkish is an extra.

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word), knowledge of an Accounting Application is an extra.

· Good knowledge of could & data sharing applications (Google drive, Dropbox…).

· Excellent social and interpersonal skills.

· Team work spirit.

· Ability and willing to work overtime and on weekends (when necessary).

· Willing to travel to another city for auditing and monitoring procedure implementation.

-The appointment/assignment is for the duration of six (6) months, with the possibility of extension, subject to availability of funds.
