Since then, the organisation has expanded its program scope and scale to make the greatest possible contribution to meeting humanitarian needs in Turkey and North West Syria. Expert Finance Administrator* - Service Conract

in Beirut / Lebanon

The position is to be filled by October 4, 2021, with a Service Contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. The service location will be in Beirut, Lebanon. For transparency reasons the service payment is oriented along a WHH payment scheme.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the project’s contractual agreement and ensure strong budget control in close cooperation with the Head of Project
  • Ensure that activities and workplan are in synchronization with budget versus actual
  • Carry out financial administrative controls at project level
  • Ensure that the project’s financial administrative processes at the project location are auditable and efficient
  • Support the Head of Project prepare or revise the project / co-financing budget/budget modification /amendment in terms of formal
  • Correctness
  • Provide instructions and advisory to finance team members in Lebanon under supervision
  • Instruct and support project partner organizations in matters relating to financial management.
  • Support Head of Project with entering Fund request in FundsPro system
  • Monitor funds in the bank/cash and update weekly Head of Project about remaining balance in the project
  • Partner's report reviewing/checking, entering in FundsPro system or releasing
  • Fulfillment of any other tasks which are assigned by the management and correspond in general with the character of this position
  • Supervise Lebanon finance team members reporting and build their capacity
  • capacity building of partners and identify gaps in finance systems

Your profile

  • Very good knowledge in English and Arabic (speaking, writing, reading)
  • More than 4 years of experience in Finance Departments of (I)NGOs
  • Experience in working with implementing partners
  • Advanced skills in MS Office programs and knowledge in working with any accounting software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Adm/Banking or related area
