Your team
Within the The European Green Sky Directorate, the mission of the Master Plan & Architecture service is to “Support European aviation in making strategic decisions for the transformation of Air Traffic Management (ATM)”.
The Enterprise Architecture Solution Specialist will be in charge of administrating the ORBUS iServer 365 (ORBUS Infinity) instance (day to day configuration and administration). S/he will contribute to the evolution of the Enterprise Architecture Framework (s) by providing Functional Support. S/he will contribute to the Content Integration, Master Planning and Performance activities within the SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) project. S/he will contribute to ensuring that the European ATM Architecture approach is fitting the expectation and correctly applied by SESAR Solution projects.
Your role
Your role will be to:
- Ensure the day to day configuration and administration of the iSERVER 365 (or OrbusInfinity) System (i.e. cloud configuration, power user knowledge, license management, user profile management, etc) including providing the technical support level 1 and 2 to users.
Act as functional support and suggest on how to best use the proposed Enterprise Architecture (EA) application for new aspects of the EA Framework and methods that have not yet been applied. Manage the EA application database (log analysis, cleansing, creation of databases, update, data migration, Import/export of data…) including maintenance of technical documents, user profile management, etc Understand business issues, and implement system solutions as resolution as needed and develop interfaces between systems. Produce and maintain technical and training documentation and deliver information sessions and trainings on the system and associated solutions. Create customized reports and workflows and configure the system to generate specific reports/dashboards (PowerBI) meeting business needs. Participate in working groups, projects and studies as needed. Carry out any other task in line with the main purpose of the job.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
University degree of at least 4 years in a relevant field (i.e. system engineering) plus minimum 2 years relevant experience. The following certification would be an asset:
TOGAF 9 Foundation certification, or equivalent Archimate 3 Foundation certification or equivalent Experience with OrbusInfinity / iServer 365 and with providing level 1,2 and 3 support. Knowledge in the definition of interfaces between ORBUS iServer 365 and other IT Applications (e.g. JIRA). Skillful in the following areas:
o Microsoft Azure cloud knowledge and expertise.
o Sharepoint knowledge and expertise.
o Database Management (SQL)
o Creation of Scripts (Java, Visual Basic, Python, etc.)/Reporting
o PowerBI/Dashboarding
o Excel, Word, Visio
o Definition of workflows and processess (BPMN)
The following experience/knowledge would be an asset:
o Experience in Air Traffic management (ATM) architecture, ATM system design & evolution
o Understanding of the future ATM Business and operational concepts
o Understanding of ATM systems and awareness of their future evolution
o Data Science applied to ATM
o Project Management skills

Before being established in the post, he/she will be requested to provide certified copies of his/her degrees and successfully serve a probationary period of 9 months. The successful candidate shall be engaged in principle at the basic grade of the advertised grades. In case of reserve list: Suitable candidates, however not selected to fill the post, will be placed on a reserve list for similar functions.
