The purpose of the officer position is to oversee the day-to-day implementation of the education project. Education officer will oversee all operations and supervise education assistants.

Ability to work diligently both independently and in a team setting.Previous experience supervising teamsMinimum 2 years experience in NGO education programming.Experience in working with children and/or educators; DoE-level experience a plus. Experience in training or building the capacity of others.Candidates with a university and/or advanced degree preferred.Solid computer skills, including MS Word, Outlook and ExcelProven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Understanding of the circumstances, needs and challenges IDP/refugee children face.Knowledge of the basics of Child Protection and/or psychosocial support.Other Information:
Contract Duration: 6 months Extendable
Duty Station: Northern Area Office Iraq – Mosul.
Travel: 50% Qayyarah.

Salary: G5/S1, According to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
