About ACEA Project

FHI 360 is implementing the Department of State Collaborative Action for Handicraft Exports (ACEA) project in Tunisia. In partnership with the National Office of Handicrafts (ONAT), the goal of this project is to foster a more competitive handicraft value chain in Tunisia, leading to long-term sustainable economic growth, increased exports, and increased employment.

This goal would be achieved through a technical support to four handicrafts value chains, including the initiatives of three clusters. A first step was initiated by a technical support to “Natural extract” value chain in the northwest of Tunisia, Olive Wood in Sidi Bouzid and Sfax, and traditional weaving in Toujen. While keep providing support to these value chains, the project will focus on traditional pottery in Barrama .

Responsabilities

Under the direct supervision of the Cluster business development officer , the Marketing Associate will support program/project teams administratively and technically to provide high quality deliverables to clients by fulfilling the following responsibilities:

· Provide technical assistance and support to programs, including liaising with stakeholders including partners, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties.

· Develop/upgrade plans and help find strategies to meet the project objectives (enhance exports, gender and youth inclusion).

· Build strong links with beneficiaries, partners and/or other stakeholders

· Ensure completion/execution of program activities while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements.

· Provide support to marketing and cluster business development activities such as Market research, export, supply chain improvement .

· Contribute to the activities and events arrangements, logistics and coordination.

· Ensure the different meetings arrangements and the report to the Program Management

· Close collaboration with the M&E unit: Collect, compile and analyze information relevant to the program.

· Provide administrative support to programs as needed by writing, reviewing, and translating reports on a quarterly basis.

· Perform tasks outside of Tunis (other Tunisian regions and/or other countries).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, International Development, or a related discipline. A Master's degree may be preferred.

  • Proven experience (typically 0-3 years) in project management, particularly in development projects or export-oriented programs.

  • Experience in working with stakeholders, partners, beneficiaries, and other relevant parties.

  • Familiarity with market research, supply chain improvement, and export-related activities.

  • Experience in program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is a plus.

  • Administrative experience, including report writing.
