Mission Context :

Douleurs Sans Frontières (DSF) is a French NGO for international solidarity working in the field of health, specifically in the area of pain management and palliative care. The association's headquarters, located at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris, has a permanent team of 6 people. DSF is currently carrying out a development project in Haïti reinforcing the local national health system, completed by training & informative actions to health & care workers about pain management.

Activities and Responsibilities: The Admin/Log/HR Coordinator works under the responsibility of the National Director and in close collaboration with the desk based at the Paris headquarters. His/Her areas of action cover accounting, administrative management, financial, logistical & human resources management. More specifically, the position includes the following activities:

  • Supervising the logistics, financial & HR processes & their document managements
  • Developing budgets, reporting for the local mission & audits
  • Ensuring mission accounting & documentation archiving
  • Management of the mission's bank accounts and cash.
  • Establishing administrative, financial & legal rules and processes in compliance with laws, donor requirements, and DSF internal rules.
  • Representing the association in inter-NGO meetings related to the role.

Candidate Profile :

  • Candidate already in country
  • Higher education, such as a business school, finance/management degree, and/or humanitarian project administrator.
  • At least one previous experience in a similar position, preferably in an NGO, experience in team management is a plus.
  • advanced level in pack office tools, knowledge of Saga accounting software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of donor regulations is a plus.
  • Rigorous, good analytical skills, and ability to manage priorities.
  • Written and spoken fluency in French, English is a plus.

Location : Port-au-Prince

Start Date : 01/05/2024 Duration: 3 to 12 months

Conditions : VSI Status – Allowance between 800 and 1000€ depending on experience, monthly allowance of 750€ + housing allowance + insurance
