The recent development in Ukraine have led over 7.6 million refugees to flee over the borders from Ukraine and a further 6.3 million have been displaced within Ukraine. The estimated 17,7 million people that are stranded in Ukraine face shortages of basic needs such as water, food and medicine.
5,796,748 refugees have crossed the Polish border, 591,947 refugees have crossed the Moldavian border and 1,127,998 refugees the Romanian border.
This situation has led ACF France to open Country Offices, in Ukraine, Poland and Romania and ACF Spain in Moldova.
ACF has deployed a regional multi-sectorial strategy through direct implementation and partnership. Core activities are Food Security & Livelihood (canned and dry food distribution, hot meals, cash) and Mental Health & Care Practices (psychosocial support, PFA training, Baby Friendly Space, psychiatric referrals). In Ukraine strategy includes WASH activities (rehabilitation/repair of centralized water and sanitation networks as well as gas networks and boiler plants, minor repair of Collective/Transit Centers and hygiene kit distribution) as well as Health & Nutrition ones (primary health care structures support).
In Ukraine ACF intervenes in the East (Dnipro, Kharkiv and Zapporizhzhia in particular), the West (Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi) and is extending its coverage to the southern part of the country (Odessa and Mykolaiv).
Under the supervision of the Country Director, this position will be based at Kyiv national office if security situation allows it, with frequent travelling across all the bases and working under the direct supervision of HoD HR with close collaboration with Coordination team and Area & Field Coordinators.
In this contexte, and more specifically you will :
Develop and implement a PSEA and Gender Frame work consisting of PSEA and Gender Focal points at each base and sensitize/create awareness between the staff about PSEA and Gender by developing the Terms of references for PSEA and Gender Focal points, identify the PSEA and Gender Focal points at each base based, train them on the PSEA and Gender policy and conduct PSEA and Gender training at each base for staff awareness
Develop a mission Nationalization strategy and a plan in line with the needs, priorities, capacity/skill set in hand and strategic orientation with clear deadlines and a training/capacity building plan to facilitate the process
You hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration Management, Social Sciences or Internal Relation with experiences working an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO). You already have experience in HR sector you are a multitasking person. Willing to contribute to our unique approach to programming, you excel at planning skills and leading your team. You are capable work cooperatively with subordinates, colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels. You have an excellent sense of priorities. Willing to contribute to our unique approach to programming, you excel at planning skills and leading your team.
English spoken and writing is compulsory, Ukranian would be an asset.
A past experience with ACF as HR HoD or HR Expert will be a great advantage.
