Based in The Hague, Netherlands, you will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) as System Manager (CIS Security). Bringing your expertise to the Engineering Branch (ENB) within the Directorate of Air Missile Defence Command and Control (AMDC2). ENB executes overall design responsibility to ensure and harmonize the integrity, technical coherence and interoperability across all AirC2-related based projects throughout product lifecycles (requirements, design, implementation, test support and site support) and across assigned projects. Specifically you will join the CIS Security Section (CISSS) which establishes and maintains a CIS security framework for AMDC2 product /services.

About you
We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable professional System Manager (CIS Security) who holds a minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience; Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post; Understanding or experience in security engineering of large-scale, real-time and safety-critical, distributed software-intensive CIS; Understanding of security risk assessments processes; Understanding of the concepts of system security testing and security inspections/audits; Up-to-date knowledge of computer system architectures, modern operating systems and their security features, client/server, LAN/WAN, wireless infrastructure and network concepts, test techniques, Database Management Systems and data management concepts.
A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable.
