An exciting opportunity to head up the Project Coordination role for a leading international NGO working in Oslo, Norway. 

What we are looking for 

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient and dynamic Project Coordinator to provide project support across External Relations, including extra capacity to make up for “missing staff”, especially in global fundraising while the GF Director is working part time. It is a very flexible role with a mix of administration, business process and short term gap filling. Duties include organising meetings, taking minutes, preparing reports, data collection and analysis, focal communication point, finance support, business process documentation.

NRC External relations (Exrel) is a global team responsible for engaging with private individuals and organisation to build awareness of NRCs work and raise resources for NRC, especially unearmarked funds. To do this Exrel has four focus areas; Public Engagement who give a global public voice to NRC and the people we serve; Fundraising who grow our income of unearmarked funding from private individuals; Donor Management who ensure our income from regular donors; Corporate who get grants and pro bono resources from private organisations and high net worth individuals. In addition, there is a Governance function that crosses all these functions focused on legal, financial, human resource and other ‘fit for purpose’ activities. 

What you will do 

Exrel All staff meeting owner.  Support to Global fundraising on administration and finance.  Support exrel finance reporting.  Provide summaries of Exrel organization e.g. organogram project  Project to define onboarding of new exrel staff.  Project to define exrel specific procurement procedure.  Manage Exrel NRC Intranet project  Manage Exrel Sharepoint project  Other projects and cover support as needed.

What we offer 

Duty station: Oslo Norway 

Contract: national contract, 12 months (extension possible, dependent on funding) 

Travel: up to 0%  

Salary/benefits: grade 7 on NRC’s Head Office  salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions
