Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Ma3an's communications team to capture and draft compelling youth leader impact stories and highlights. Share success stories that inspire change.

  • Establish strong partnerships with local media outlets to enhance the project's visibility and outreach. Leverage media relationships to amplify our impact.

  • Support the drafting and writing of press and media materials in both Arabic and English. Ensure that our messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.

  • Produce regular reports on the community impact and activities of Ma3an youth leaders and Highlighting the positive changes they bring to their communities.

  • Take photos and shoot videos to visually document our work, youth activities, and the transformation of Ma3an safe spaces.

  • Cover the programming and increased utilization of Ma3an renovated and equipped safe spaces by the youth. Showcase how these spaces empower and transform young lives.

  • Collaborate closely with the Ma3an Communications team to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across all channels.

  • Support the logistics, planning, and coverage of Ma3an site inaugurations and other events. Ensure that our milestones and achievements are celebrated.

  • Supporting the Regional program manager to implement the activities to expand access to youth civic engagement skills and opportunities.

  • Supporting the Regional program manager in organizing communities-based events of the YCC partners

  • Supporting the Regional program manager in the monitoring and follow up with the YLN and YEE partners activities.

  • Support the Regional program manager to Coordinate with the MEL Knowledge Management team on Mednine Office activities.

  • Travel locally to target communities to carry out the above-listed duties. Engage directly with the youth and communities to capture their stories and experiences.

    Requirement

    • Bachelor\\'s Degree or its equivalent in Economics, Education, Environment Health, Human Development, Information Science, International Development, Social Sciences or a related field .
    • Typically requires 0 - 2 years of relevant administrative experience supporting projects and/or a technical practice area.

    • Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) preferred.

    • Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

    • A strong passion for youth empowerment and community development.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

    • Proficiency in photography and videography.

    • Relationship-building skills to establish partnerships with local media.

    • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.

    • Willingness to travel locally to target communities as required.

    • Prior experience in a similar role or a related field is a plus
