SCOPE OF WORK
Develop a landscape strategy to revive a 40-acre land parcel demonstrating wetland regeneration. Develop a strategy for habitat restoration activities such as invasive plant removal, native plant propagation and out-planting, and shoreline cleanups
Work in collaboration with the design leads to developing a feasible strategy for restoration.
Review completed/ongoing detailed engineering design and its drawings.
Transcription and rendering of design plans into 2d and 3d software
Develop community design and presentation packages, renderings, 3d and physical models
Produce booklets, presentations, and exhibits to enable community validation and government partnerships
KEY QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
Masters in wetland restoration/ landscape architecture
Experience collecting data on vegetation, soils, water, and/or other environmental data
Knowledge of wetland ecology and experience working in wetlands and/or riparian areas
Knowledge of flora and/or wetland species.
Experience with aerial photography, topographic map interpretation, and use of GPS
Careful attention to detail, strong oral communication skills and crew teamwork, and strong written and organizational skills to complete lengthy field forms
