PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of internship for two positions of Grant Management Intern in Cambodia for the USAID Civil Society Support (CSS) Activity. The CSS Activity is a three-year and ten months, $8.5 million USAID-funded project implemented by FHI 360 and its partner, the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL). CSS will strengthen civil society through support for increased coordination and collective action, an improved enabling environment, and innovative approaches to advocacy. The overall goal of the project is a civil society that is more able to protect civic space, to strengthen democratic reforms, and to promote and protect human rights.

JOB SUMMARY:

A Grant Management Intern will provide support to the CSS Grant Officers to supports and monitor the CSS grantees. The internship will report to Assigned Grant Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS:

Under the overall guidance of the Grants Officer, the Grants Management Intern shall perform the following duties:

Grants

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, filing and activities related to grant management.
  • Assist in preparing meetings, trainings and workshops with grantees and partner organizations.
  • Assist in taking notes/minutes of meetings, workshops, and events under CSS Activity.
  • Assist in reviewing and verifying grantees’ statements of expenditure, including supporting documentation (i.e. invoices, receipts, proof of payments).
  • Assist with payment process to grantees.
