JOB SUMMARY:

The Grant and Finance Management Intern will provide supports to the CSS Grant Officers and Finance Officer to support and monitor the CSS grantees. The internship will report to Assigned Grant Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS:

Under the overall guidance of the Grants Officer and Finance Officer, the Grants and Finance Management Intern shall perform the following duties:

Grants

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks, filing and activities related to grant management.
  • Assist in preparing meetings, trainings and workshops with grantees and partner organizations.
  • Assist in taking notes/minutes of meetings, workshops, and events under CSS Activity.
  • Assist in reviewing and verifying grantees’ statements of expenditure, including supporting documentation (i.e. invoices, receipts, proof of payments).
  • Assist with the payment process to grantees.

    Finance

    • Organize and maintain all records and files in accordance with FHI 360 and donor requirements.
    • Assist with scanning/copying all supporting documents monthly.
    • Assist to record inventories and manage property of the project.
    • Be able to travel to the project sites.

          Education &QUALIFICATION:

          • Fresh graduate or undergraduate student (at least in Year 3) in Business Administration, Banking Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.
          • Ability to use Microsoft Office and Finance software.
          • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Khmer.

            Experience/Other Requirements:

            • High commitment to learn during the internship
            • Demonstrated willingness to travel in Phnom Penh and to provinces for field visits/monitoring
            • Demonstrated willingness to learn by doing
            • Demonstrated work flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
            • Demonstrated good communication and teamwork
