The HR Coordinator is responsible for assuring compliance with all HO HR administration routines and guidelines, and support NRC as an employer to be aligned with Norwegian labour laws. The HR Coordinator will provide HR generalist advise and maintain and update HR information for HO staff. 

Description of the role

As HR Coordinator at NRC’s Head Office you will have two main areas of responsibility:

You are responsible for our internship program at Head Office. Leading the program from interacting with universities in Norway, managing the recruitment process as well as supporting our interns and line managers during the internship period and following up after the end of the period. You are the single point of contact for all interns as well as line managers. You are responsible for handling and managing all Employer of Record (EoR) contracts for Head Office. This includes being the contact point for our EoR provider, advising our line managers and staff on all topics around EoR, registering our EoR staff on the providers platform and ensure a good transition of our staff to the EoR provider.

Besides these two main areas of responsibility you are also responsible for assuring compliance with all HO HR administration routines and guidelines, and support NRC as an employer to be aligned with Norwegian labour laws. The HR Coordinator will provide HR generalist advise and maintain and update HR information for HO staff.

Main tasks that fall under this category are:

Responsible for all relevant comp and ben documents, including job descriptions and special agreement are updated and available on Office 365 Support in conducting gradings of job descriptions for Head Office and Representation Offices Responsible for updating and archiving new job descriptions as well as create new positions in NRC People to ensure correct organizational structure for HO in NRC People Support in developing and implementing HR framework, policies and contribute to HR related projects Support the Head Office HR Unit with development and implementation of HR initiatives and carry out other duties of temporary character appointed by Head of Unit Support the HR Operations Unit in Global HR where needed in administrative tasks

You have relevant experience within the field of HR, including some experience of compensation and benefits are good at networking and own good representation skills? You have fluent communication skills in English and Norwegian? Proactivity, flexibility, strong analytical skills and eagerness to deliver results both with a team or on your own are attributes that describe you?
