Health Policy and Integration Team Lead: The Health Policy and Integration Team Lead will be under supervision of Deputy Chief of Party. S/he will provide day-to-day management of health policies/guidelines development, revision, and integration related activities under EQHA II's objective 1. S/he will provide technical assistance and facilitate system thinking among key stakeholders, including coordinating institutions and national programs/ centers leading key vertical interventions, to generate and package evidence, conduct policy analysis, and develop, advocate and support the adoption of feasible, efficient and sustainable policies, guidelines, and strategies for improving the quality and availability of healthcare services at all levels. S/he will work closely with relevant stakeholders and partners to promote the integration of national vertical programs into the mainstream health systems. S/he will provide technical leadership and assistance across the project on infectious disease topics including HIV/AIDS, TB, and emerging disease. S/he will play the role as the infectious disease subject matter expert and work in close collaboration with technical team to define thematic priorities and guide corresponding interventions based on global standards and latest evidence. S/he will coordinate the review of existing strategies and works closely with stakeholders to develop and implement new strategies and pilot innovative private sector activities through close coordination with Objectives 2 and 3 team. S/he will collaborate with other functional teams within EQHA II to ensure harmonized work and a synergy within EQHA II’s quality improvement interventions at policy and implementation level.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Cambodian National
  • Masters’ Degree in public health or international health; medical degree is an advantage with at least 5 years of relevant experiences working with INGOs.
    • A Minimum of a Masters’ Degree in public health or international health. Clinical degree in nursing, medicine or pharmacy a plus.
    • Specialized experience is required in areas including, but not limited to, clinical management of TB and MDR-TB and HIV/AIDS; infection control; private sector engagement; program design, management, and implementation; and program data management.
    • Minimum eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in designing, implementing and managing TB and HIV/AIDS health programs in developing countries.
    • Demonstrated technical leadership, program management, strategic planning, policy experience, and problem-solving skills working on complex projects in a highly sensitive environment are required.
    • Skills people manager to support staff for optimal productivity and joy in work.
