Oxfam has been operating in Myanmar since 1999, working directly and through local partner organizations to reduce poverty and inequality.
Fair For All project (F4A) in Myanmar has started in January 2021 and the project works closely with local partners in Kachin State focus on fair value chain of agriculture and land-based investments with women leadership and gender mainstream activities.
Now, the project is looking for a gender expert/organization under F4A project as a short-term consultant to work on gender analysis by collecting specific cases in the field of project targeted value chains in agriculture and land-based investments.
The followings are the objectives of the assignment.
After finalizing the report there will be its sharing and learning session (end of April/early May in 2022). The consultant should be leading sharing of the findings to partners, Oxfam’s gender adviser and project team and facilitating discussions around learnings and findings from report.
The consultant is expected to work the gender analysis on the focus value-chain areas remotely in close coordination with the gender program adviser and Oxfam F4A team in Myanmar.
The duration that the consultant needs to complete the consultancy is between February and April in 2022 with all deliverables. Learning and sharing session can be organized in end of April/ early in May 2022.
Payment will be provided (40%) at the signing of the contract and (60%) after submission of the final products and signed at Service Received Note from both parties.
