You have:

A university degree (Bachelor) in administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience in business administration, office administration or related field. Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking). A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in providing executive, administrative and operational support in a senior manager’s office including the management of corporate communications and scheduling. An experience in regional and international travel coordination and event organization. An in-depth understanding of executive, administrative and operational procedures.

Advancing IDRC's mission and strategic goals by supporting the current and future activities of the Central and West Africa Regional Office in Dakar. Coordinating the daily activities of the Regional Director and prioritizing the incoming flow of work. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, screening correspondence, and analysing information required for a response. Conducting daily coordination and logistical support using corporate systems. Facilitating cross-functional collaborations and sharing of information. * Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (Minimum 3 days out of 10 in the office).
