Greening strategy:

ACTED’s greening strategy aims to tackle environmental degradation and climate change while meeting the needs of the most vulnerable who are often those most affected by the deepening environmental crisis. ACTED PSEAH Policy:

(Information Management Assistant**)** has the responsibility to adhere to the PSEAH Policy (Protection against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment). The (Information Management Assistant) has the obligation to complete all mandatory ttrainingrelated to the Code of Conduct and the PSEA policy and report any safeguarding concern such as breaches of organisational policies or codes of conduct according to ACTED’s procedures. The (Information Management Assistant) carries out work duties in a way that does not harm children, vulnerable adults or other staff or volunteers,

Job Purpose

Information Management Assistant under the supervision of the Information Management Senior Officer will be responsible for ensuring that information required to support humanitarian operations is collected, organized and distributed to all stakeholders.

Objectives

Maintain the database files and make sure that contain harmonized data.

Design data collection tools and do data entry processes as requested

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming data from projects.
  • Ensure appropriate archiving of all paper data collection forms, in collaboration with all AME staff.
  • Cleaning and analyzing the quantitative data.
  • Manage the storage of all types of data.
  • Manage the beneficiaries’ database.
  • Design data collection tools.
  • Make a follow-up on the data collection process from various beneficiaries and stakeholders in monitoring and evaluation operation.
  • Ensure regular updating to Database and prepare activities and progress reports.
  • Establish and maintain an up-to-date repository file for project activities.
  • Ensure the efficient and timely circulation of information to IMO, regular.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in a relevant field (computer engineering, information management…etc.).
  • Past job experience of at least two years in a similar field.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Excellent proficiency with data collection tools such as KOBO, ODK and iForm.
  • Fluent in Arabic (Reading and Writing)
  • Experience related to analyse databases resulting from surveys.
  • English: B1 – intermediate
