ACAPS  is dedicated to helping humanitarians make better decisions. We want to put evidence at the heart of decision-making. To achieve this, we collaborate with a variety of partners across the humanitarian sector and beyond. We strive to be an evolving platform providing:  

 

Support primary data collection through conducting interviews with relevant stakeholders.  Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of the ACAPS Ukraine Analysis Hub’s information management systems and ensure that collected data is recorded and processed in a structured and efficient manner. Support the team in designing and conducting analysis. Gather and analyse quantitative and qualitative data to feed into Ukraine Analysis Hub’s data bases and into ACAPS global analysis (the INFORM Severity Index, the ACAPS Global Humanitarian Access, the Global Core dataset and other analysis products where appropriate). Participate is preparation and interviewing of key informants.

 

Requirements and qualifications

Formal education and background 

Completed relevant university degree or currently enrolled in a programme, preferably in humanitarian action, social sciences, international relations, international development, or related fields.

Requirements

Familiarity with Excel (or similar software); Experience in Secondary Data Review, Desk Review; Attention to details and ability to receive and implement feedback; Ability to effectively work within a multi-cultural environment; Ability to deliver against targets and meeting deadlines within a short timeframe; Ability to work in team remotely; Structured and focused, proven ability to manage time effectively; Fluency in English mandatory, fluency in Russian/Ukrainian/Polish an asset. Access to a reliable internet connection.
