Job Summary:

The Communication and MEL Intern will provide support to CSS on the communication and MEL implementation and its sub-grantees The position will report directly to the CSS MEL Specialist or successor’s appointment.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Communication and social media

  • Work with grantees to ensure that contents are scheduled and posted in a timely manner on their respective social media channels.
  • Manage the social media calendar for the project.
  • Assist the Communications specialist in brainstorming content and campaign ideas.
  • Design event/program fliers, graphics and other marketing material
  • Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and tools for communications

    Monitoring, Evaluation and learning

    • Regularly input MEL data into KOBO form
    • Verify and clean CSS project data (offline or online) for project reports and other purposes
    • Prepare logistical arrangements for MEL fieldwork
    • Participate in MEL training sessions conducted by CSS and its sub-grantees
    • Prepare logistical support to CSS MEL training sessions
    • Perform other tasks as required.

          Education &QUALIFICATION:

          • Fresh graduate or undergraduate student (at least in Year 3) in Bachelor of Art (BA), Community/Rural Development, Management Information System (MIS), or a related field.
          • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other ICT Applications
          • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Khmer

            Experience/Other Requirements:

            • Demonstrated willingness to travel in Phnom Penh and to provinces for field visits/monitoring
            • Demonstrated willingness to learn by doing
            • Demonstrated work flexibility and ability to manage multitasks
            • Demonstrated good communication and teamwork

              Competency

              • Good communication and writing skills.
              • Displays ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
              • Treats all people fairly without favoritism.
