PROJECT BACKGROUND

USAID End Tuberculosis in Tajikistan Activity is a five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). USAID End Tuberculosis in Tajikistan Activity aims to reduce the burden of TB in the Republic of Tajikistan. The project activity results are focuses on improving case detection and notification for all forms of TB, increasing the number of patients cured of all forms of TB, strengthening TB prevention by expanded preventive treatment and improved infection prevention and control (IPC) interventions, and strengthening TB system resilience/reliance in public health emergency.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Finance and Operations Manager, the Cleaner will be responsible for the office cleaning, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitary maintenance of the premises of the FHI 360 office, located at the address: Dushanbe city, 48 Ayni Street, Business center \"Sozidanie\" 2nd floor, Block B. Total area 280 sq.m.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring daily wet and dry cleaning with a vacuum cleaner of the entrusted premises of the FHI360 office;
  • Cleaning of dust, cleaning of air vents on the ceiling, cleaning of workplaces of FHI360 employees, windowsills, windows, and doors;
  • Cleaning the kitchen and toilets with the replacement of cleaning products, washing dishes;
  • Daily collection, installation of garbage bags in all baskets and removal of garbage from all areas of the FHI360 office;
  • Ensuring sanitation in the premises, processing the entrance, front door of the office, in the conditions of seasonal and emergency quarantines, disinfecting the premises and entrance doors, daily washing and processing of the entrance mat and handles of the front and entrance doors;
  • Daily monitoring of the availability and timely provision of jobs - napkins and other consumables, provided for by the purchases of FHI360;
  • Monitor stock availability and timely execution of a request for detergents and accessories needed for cleaning and sanitizing the premises;
  • Watering indoor plants;
  • Preparing the premises and dishes, setting the table and providing coffee breaks during events held at the FHI360 office;
  • Monitoring the safety of furniture and interior arrangement of premises and timely notification of the direct supervisor of the need for repair or intervention;
  • Proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies;
  • Compliance with all safety and labor protection regulations;
  • Fulfillment of certain service tasks at the request of the line manager, if they do not contradict the policies and procedures of the organization, as well as other internal rules.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Secondary education.
    • Knowledge of Tajik and Russian languages.
    • Ability to handle household appliances (coffee machine, vacuum cleaner, thermos pot, ventilation system control port;
    • Knowledge of purpose of cleaning products and consumables;
    • At least 5 years of experience.
    • Position open to Tajik nationals or individuals who have the legal authority to work in Tajikistan.
