Proposal Summary:
The primary goal of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Activity is to enhance USAID Mission MEL capabilities, as well as facilitate Collaborating, Learning, Adapting (CLA) for increased accountability and adaptation across USAID/BiH’s portfolio. With a focus on evidence-based decision-making and adaptive management, the MEL Activity will aim to contribute to maximizing development impact.

Position Summary:
The Chief of Party (COP) will play a pivotal role in leading the MEL Activity, serving as the primary point of contact with the USAID Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The COP will oversee all technical and administrative aspects of the project, with a specialized focus on the CLA component. This leadership position involves supervising staff across various technical components, managing relationships with subcontractors, and ensuring the project’s compliance with USAID regulations. The full-time position will last for five years and be based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This position is contingent upon award.
