Reporting to the Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer, this position will be responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Information Technology (IT) strategies and programs designed to increase efficiency in the Bank. This position will also be responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, corporate information systems, business applications, IT services and IT Security for the Bank using the applicable “best in class” industry norms.

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manage the planning and implementation of cloud-based and on-premise IT services at the Bank in a holistic manner to ensure efficiency in operations with optimal cost and minimal risk. Identify and recommend the appropriate IT applications, IT projects, as well as, IT infrastructure solutions, required for the efficient functioning of the Bank’s operations. Establish and manage the IT budget for IT production support and IT Projects. Manage IT supply and demand of the IT production environment and IT projects in line with the corporate procurement policy and guidelines. Develop and maintain an effective enterprise-wide IT security framework and architecture in line with the Bank’s policies and applicable international standards to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of NDB digital assets. Enable a full range of digital data & records management and archival services to manage Bank-wide sharing and digital delivery of all data. Develop and maintain IT Disaster Recovery Plan in accordance with the Bank’s approved business impact analysis, business continuity plan and requirements. Review, sponsor and implement recommendations for applying new or emerging technologies throughout the enterprise through the applicable “best practice” information management methods and technological opportunities. Manage outsourced IT solutions and IT vendor services to ensure the Bank’s needs are fully satisfied. Nurture talent and coach the IT team to ensure continuous learning and development of the team. Position requirements

Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in a multilateral development bank or equivalent or regulated private sector financial institution or a large corporate enterprise in areas of Information technology and Information security. Proven experience in leading and managing IT infrastructure and designing business applications using new technologies in a complex global financial organization. In-depth knowledge of key technology trends in the Banking industry (including Development Banks) and the IT architecture required to support business objectives. Substantial knowledge of business processes involved in project finance, treasury, human resources, finance, budgeting etc. and available technology to support these processes. Strong leadership and managerial skills with a diverse workforce. Exceptional strategic thinking, leading change, problem solving, communication, conflict management and resolution and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of team work and collaboration. Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant professional field from a reputed university. Relevant certification/s from globally recognized certification agencies in the related field would be preferred.
