Counterpart International seeks a Capacity Building Officer or Capacity Building Coordinator – depending on level of experience – for the USAID-funded Rights and Dignity Project in El Salvador. The Project supports human rights organizations (HROs) to promote human rights advocacy and subject matter specialization, particularly as it relates to citizen security issues, while also building the organizational capacity of these HROs. The Officer/Coordinator will report to the Capacity Building Technical Advisor and will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of the organizational capacity development and technical direction of local HROs, including former sub-grantees. The Officer/Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining excellence in our organizational and technical capacity building activities with local organizations and will ensure effective communication among implementing partners (IPs), HROs, and other Project beneficiaries receiving organizational capacity development support. This is a full-time position based in San Salvador, El Salvador. Salvadorean nationals are especially encouraged to apply.
