Our previous trainees had this to say:

“As an international student who comes to Finland to study, working at NIB as a trainee, to me, was indeed a dream came true. I truly appreciate all of the support and guidance I received from my  professional co-workers during the 2 years I have been with NIB. Not only did my knowledge about finance enhance, but my perspective about sustainable investment also changed significantly. NIB offers many chances for trainees to observe and learn, and cares about everyone's professional growth. Also, it is very easy to balance between working and studying while working here due to flexibility in working times and tasks.

I love being here at NIB and I believe that the traineeship will be one of the greatest experiences in anyone's career path in pursuit of becoming successful in financial fields”

“Working as a Lending Assistant Trainee at NIB has been a valuable experience and has taught me a lot about the main operations of an international financial institution. Especially, at the Lending Department, I have gotten to explore the credit process from the very beginning of a loan initiative to the final loan agreement and witness how the mission of NIB is realized by combining the knowledge of financial, legal and environmental expertise. The broad range of my tasks has enabled me to understand how all the activities in the bank are connected besides the daily activities at Lending.

The encouraging atmosphere has been one of the greatest aspects of working at NIB. Everyone is working towards a common goal and motivates each other to learn. In addition, the environment is very international and I have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful colleagues from all around the world during my time at NIB.”
