Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director HIV & TB, and working as part of the HIV/AIDS & TB team at Save the Children US (SCUS), the TB Technical Advisor will provide technical leadership for all SC TB programs, and will lead new business development efforts to secure new TB grants with multiple donors including USAID, PEPFAR, and the Global Fund (GF). You will provide high-level technical assistance in line with the HIV/AIDS & TB team’s vision, strategy, and priorities to further SCUS’s global agenda to fight against TB & HIV/AIDS especially among children, adolescents, women and key populations (KP). You will collaborate with HIV/AIDS & TB colleagues and other teams within International Programs to support implementation of high quality TB programs in various countries and to build the capacity of country office technical staff to provide high quality program implementation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience plus at least 7 years of relevant experience
Proven success in new business development in the areas of TB, TB/HIV, especially in Africa or Asia, including conducting capture and serving as technical proposal writer.
Demonstrated experience and record of accomplishment in dealing with public and private donors, including knowledge of and experience with GF mechanisms.
Proven ability to work and collaborate with individuals and teams in different cultural settings, and at all levels
Demonstrated knowledge of prevention of mother to child transmission, pediatric TB and TB/HIV technical programming.
Demonstrated experience in working with high-risk populations, including adolescents, girls and Key Populations (KPs) (Men having Sex with Men (MSM), Female Sex Workers (FSW) and Persons Who Inject Drugs (PWID)).
Demonstrated abilities in analytical thinking, problem solving and team building skills.
Proven ability to consolidate information from multiple sources and to produce reports and publications targeted at specific audiences
Demonstrated ability in maintaining close counterpart relationships, both governmental and in the partner community
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
Proven ability to interpret strategy, to analyze, develop and present work, and to monitor and evaluate implementation of programs.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
