Who we are

PSI is a network of locally rooted, globally connected organizations working to achieve consumer-powered healthcare — people-centered health systems that ensure quality, affordable care wherever and whenever it is needed. Our origins in sexual and reproductive health have grown into a broader mission. Today, we work with the public and private sectors as well as local communities, prioritizing people’s voice and choice and developing solutions to meet their essential health needs. Over the past five decades, we have helped push boundaries, break taboos, set trends, and develop innovative solutions to complex global health challenges.

The Adolescents 360 (A360) project is a 5-year investment funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) that implements across Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Kenya. In its first investment phase (2016-2020), the project designed interventions to increase contraceptive access and uptake among adolescent girls ages 15-19. In its follow-on investment phase (2020-2025), the project is adapting these interventions for greater impact, institutionalizing them into government systems for sustainability, and conducting research and learning activities to contribute to filling gaps in the global evidence base. The A360 global team is a diverse, multi-country-based team that plays a critical role in technical excellence for the project’s implementation in its geographies of focus. The global team is also tasked with ensuring that project learning and evidence is disseminated and translated within key communities of practice, so that the value of the project is sustained through its contribution to advancing progress in ASRH implementation globally.
