Position: Senior Program Manager
Reports to: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP), the Senior Program Manager will coordinate and manage the Access to Justice component of the Jigerduu Jarandar (JJ) Project.
Access to Justice (A2J) is one of the major focus areas of the JJ Project. In close collaboration with its partners, JJ is supporting efforts to improve access to justice for the most vulnerable and marginalized, focusing on strengthening government systems and local institutions. To date over 10,000 citizens in 20 target municipalities have received free legal consultations on key issues such as civil rights, legal status, family law, and land ownership. JJ has also supported key legislation to improve access to justice. Additionally, JJ has supported training for service providers as part organizational and institution building, including on such topics as GBV. JJ has been strengthening equality under the law through more effective access to legal identity documents, particularly for marginalized groups.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Access to Justice Senior Manager leads the JJ efforts to improve access to justice for the most disadvantaged, drives forward implementation and ensures effective management and oversight to best meet the objectives of the program.

Qualifications
Education
Advanced degree in law, international development, human rights, public policy, or related field.
Work experience
Languages
Fluent oral and writing skills in English, Russian and Kyrgyz is essential.
