University degree or equivalent education. At least five years of experience in Operational Services in Real Life Support to military operations/exercises within the Agency or in other sizable organisation. Very good knowledge of the concepts, theories, and principles of Project Management and experience in using project management methods and tools. Ability to deal with national representatives at all levels. Capability to generate ideas, process complex information accurately and provide direct supervision. Ability to present reasoned arguments leading to a recommendation that is in line with the organisational aims and priorities. Excellent communication skills and a sense of diplomacy when dealing with persons inside and outside the Agency at all levels and of different nationalities. Ability to respond quickly to challenges within their functional area. Interest in maintaining personal proficiency and skills and keeping current on technological advances. A recognised project management certification [e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2® Practitioner ]. WHAT DO WE OFFER? This post is deployable. The incumbent of this post may be required to deploy or may be assigned to a remote location, to perform duties (inside or outside a theatre/deployment location) in support of Council approved operations/missions or in support of national or multinational operations/missions authorised by the Agency Supervisory Board of NSPO.
